Let's begin by the Main Window. It consists of fours panels, each panel showing the guitar neck, the tuning menu, the tonality box, the degrees grid.
First panel shows Scales, the second one shows Chords, the third shows Diatonic scales or how to play scales with chords, the fourth one is Custom ! This one allow you to show your own choose of notes on the neck.

You change tonality by clicking on the tonality list you want to use.
In the Scale panel, you can choose the scale type.
In the Chord panel, you can choose the chord type.
In the Diatonic panel, you can choose the inversion type.
In the Custom panel, you choose the notes to show on the neck and the strings to use.
This is very useful to find drop chords.
Custom panel will display a list of suggested chords forms when 2 or more notes are selected, as well as a list of suggested scales.

More, you can open several windows, showing for example a chord and his related scale.
At least, you can print or copy the neck to paste it elsewhere !

Tuning
You can easily change the tuning.

And add and edit your own tunings, from 4 to 7 strings, via the "Preferences window"
Neck
You can change and customize the neck appearance, via the "Preferences window".
There are two panels here : Real Neck and Simple Neck :
"Real Neck" panel allows you to customize neck appearance, and you can choose wood, inlays, shapes, and strings !
For example, here is a Martin D76 Neck :

It's possible to define several necks and to change while practicing in the main window.
You can also export and import neck settings to exchange with your friends.

Playing
If the Play button is pushed, the scale or chord will be played with the guitar sound selected. You can change the sound in the menu and adjust the volume.
If you want to play descending, just press the shift key.
You can also hit the space bar to play.
